Etihad A330-200 Ho Chi Minh City to Abu Dhabi Or What the Ethiad Airways A330-200 and New Thai A350-900 Business Class Have in Common.

I had an eight-hour layover in Abu Dhabi before my flight to Male, Republic of Maldives.  I spent most of this time in the Etihad lounge for business-class passengers.  I reviewed this lounge a few months ago when it served as a first- and business-class lounge while Etihad was constructing a new first-class lounge.  Etihad Business/First Class Lounge Abu Dhabi

The lounge is large with several seating areas with comfortable and stylish seating.

Food and Beverages

Food is served at several large buffets.  I arrived in the lounge around 1 a.m.  Dinner was still being served.

The buffets were changed to breakfast items at 3 a.m.

Services and Amenities

In addition to the assistance from the agents regarding any flight-related questions, the lounge offers services and amenities to make travel more comfortable, enjoyable and productive, including a spa with showers and massages. img_0814img_0808img_0807

In addition to good free wifi, the lounge has computers and fax and copying services.

This is an excellent business-class lounge.  I enjoyed the food, massage and comfortable seating: however, any lounge gets tiresome after nearly eight hours.  I was glad when it was time to board the flight to the Maldives and was looking forward to experiencing the new Etihad first-class lounge on my return trip.
