The Skyteam lounge at HKG was my destination on the layover after arriving from Dallas, TX on American flight 125 American Airlines Flagship First Class, 777-300, Dallas, TX (DFW) to Hong Kong, SAR China (HKG), Picture Review and before the departure to Bangkok, Thailand on Kenya Airways, a Skyteam member.
The lounge is located in Terminal 1 near Gate 15. It is below the concourse level.
Access Policy
First and business Class passengers traveling on, or connecting to/from, a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline have access to the lounge. Regardless of their travel class, SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling on, or connecting to/from, a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline have access to a lounge. SkyTeam Elite Plus members can invite a guest traveling on a SkyTeam member airline operated flight.

The lounge is over 1,000 square meters in size. Hours of operation (which can change based on airlines schedules) are 05:30 – 01:00 daily. The lounge has showers, wifi, business center, a noodle bar (a popular Asian amenity) and even a yoga room.

The dining area has tables, a noodle bar and a long buffet with salads, fruit, hot entrees among other items.

The main seating area is behind the dining area.

Bathrooms are basic but clean.
Overall Impression
The Skyteam Lounge at HKG is a nice business-class lounge. It is relatively new, the wifi is good, electrical outlets are plentiful, food and beverages are above average especially when considering the noodle bar, and it has a yoga room for those wanting to do a little stretching before a flight.
Next is the post on the Kenya Airways 787-8 business-class flight to Bangkok, Thailand.
