Before a LATAM flight to Easter Island (Isla de Pascua or Rappa Nui), I visited the Primeclass Condor Lounge.  It is a small lounge and the only Priority Pass lounge in the Arturo Merino Benitez Airport (SCL) domestic terminal.

Location and Hours

The lounge is located on the third floor near Gate 26 one level up from the concourse of the domestic terminal.  You must be on a domestic flight to enter the domestic terminal.

The Condor lounge is accessible by elevator or stairs.

The lounge is open 24/7.  Priority Pass members have a six-hour stay limit.  Children under two are not charged for admission.  Guests over the number permitted by Priority Pass are charged $32.  Access can be purchased through Lounge Buddy for $49 or Primeclass Pacifico website for 34,000CLP. Those with certain credit cards issued in Chile also have access.  20190928_142938

Lounge Features and Services

Primeclass Pacifico operates this lounge and the Andes Lounge in the international terminal.  The firm of Concha & Co. Grupo Arquitectos designed and furnished both lounges.  Seating is functional if not luxurious.

Electrical outlets are available near most seats by the wall.

For early departures, the Condor Lounge buffet offers pastries, eggs, fruit, cheese, cereal, juice and soft drinks.  Chilean chef Martita Serani creates the menu.

The lounge has a snazzy bar.  It was closed during my visit.

The bar has a three-drink limit.

This lounge has showers, WiFi (worked well), free conference rooms, printer and copier, flight monitors, internet terminals, newspapers and magazines, and TV.  Through its website, Primeclass Pacifico also offers meet and assist services for arrival or departure.  Prices vary.

Lounge Buddy reports that there are spa services available for a fee.  I didn’t see anything about that but didn’t ask.  Lounge Buddy also advertises a special VIP entertainment system available on WiFi.  Ask the agents if there is such a thing.

Overall Impression

The Primeclass Pacifico Condor Lounge is a decent, average Priority Pass lounge.  If you are looking for a quiet spot and/or a  light meal the Condor Lounge won’t disappoint.  It was adequate for my morning visit although I would have appreciated more hot food options.  Have you been to this lounge or know anything about spa services or the VIP entertainment system?
