Thanks. The sunset and hike up were spectacular. I’m glad I made it in time to take the cable car down.

Would love to live in that little house at the end of the road. Must be magical.

Hi. It would be magical to live there. What looks like a house in the photo is a cable car station. A cable car runs from the outskirts of Cape Town to the summit of Table Mountain. I hiked to the top and took the cable car down. I reached the station just before the last car down. Thanks for checking out the blog!

It was a pleasure to experience Cape Town and Table Mountain National Park. Do you have the good fortune of living there?

Thanks Jim. I’m certainly much more likely to have sunset photos as opposed to sunrises. 🙂

I’m more of a sunrise kind of guy…

I wish I saw more sunrises. Sunsets are more colorful because of dust and pollution. I’m rarely outside at sunrise, but back in the day I’d drive long distances for school and vacations. It was always magical when after driving all night dawn would gradually illuminate the surroundings.

I actually took a poll on my blog about sunrise vs sunset: https://jborden.com/2019/10/03/what-do-you-prefer-a-sunrise-or-a-sunset-take-the-poll/
there is something magical about the dawn of a new day…
