As noted in yesterday’s post, we waited out the five-hour China Eastern flight delay in the lounge operated by Skyteam partner China Airlines. Here is a quick photo review of that lounge. The next posts will detail how we made it back to Bangkok after being left high and dry in Tokyo by China Eastern.
China Airlines Dynasty Lounge
The China Airlines lounge is located near Gate 71 on Level 2 of Terminal 2 at Tokyo Narita Airprot (NRT). The lounge has separate seating and food service areas for business class and first class. We had access to the business class section.

Passengers flying on a Skyteam airline in business class or having Skyteam Elite Plus status are admitted to the section for business class. The first class area is reserved for those flying in first class on a Skyteam airline. This is one of the few lounges that remains open during the pandemic. Hours are 07:30 to 20:00 daily.
It is easy to relax and get comfortable in the business class section. WiFi is good. Electrical outlets are plentiful.

The food service area for business class offers a good selection of refreshments. There are simple hot entrees, sandwiches, soup, pastries, snacks, and sushi.

I love the beer pouring machines and chilled glasses that seem to be standard in Japanese lounges.

Other services and features in this lounge include TV, flight monitors, a small business center with a computer terminal, a luggage room, magazines and newspapers in several languages, and restrooms but no showers.
Overall Impression
This lounge looks nice and provides a relaxing atmosphere. Beverages are good quality, but food quality and variety need improvement. You won’t mind spending time here while waiting on a flight.
Looks like great food..we were in Narita for 4 hours waiting for our flight back to Toronto ..

The food was pretty good. You travel a lot. Do you have Priority Pass lounge access?

Let’s import those machines and have them installed in lounges and other locations in the US and elsewhere! 😃😄😉
