Rickie Fowler eagles the par-5 16th hole (above) in an epic come-from-behind victory in the Players Championship. Trailing by five shots with six holes to play, Fowler played them at six-under-par, going birdie-par-birdie-eagle-birdie-birdie to force a playoff. It was not a silent Sunday.
Nice 👍

I agree ! Ending was great though 👌

The charge and victory were great vindication for Fowler because the previous week the tour players voted him as the most overrated player on tour. Thanks for reading and offering a comment.

Yes. Tiger et al. will make a great field at the Memorial. It looks like Justin Thomas will take the trophy this week.

although I like Justin, I was kind of happy for the winner, Collin…

I’m glad the other guy won too. JT can’t be too sad because he took over first place in the tour standings.

I did not know JT took over first place. That’s great to hear. I have to admit, though, for whatever reason, I am more of a Jordan Spieth fan. But Tiger will always be my favorite…

So, so true. It was loud. It was beautiful. It was exciting. And it was a great Mother’s Day present for his mom.
