I was there a number of years ago in the middle of the day, and a windbreaker was good enough. It was bright sunshine.

I just had a light jacket too. I was pretty cold when it was cloudy. I wish it was possible to visit some of the observatories.

Did you bring a parka? 😄 I had only a light jacket. When the sun came out things warmed up. I missed the sunset but am sure you are right about it. The views are amazing.
