Although I’ve never lived there, photos of New York City always make me feel nostalgic for the place.

Black and white images like this of NYC make me feel nostalgic, too. I’m reminded of a 1950s TV show but can’t put my finger on it.

Monochrome seems such a natural fit for the world’s most iconic skyline. Excellent!

I agree. Not sure why that’s the case though. I got lucky that day. A relatively clean airplane window, a clear day, and an approach or departure that followed the Hudson River.

Cool! Isn’t it fun to try to find where you live from the air? The only buildings in these photos I can pick out are the Empire State Building, WTC and 9/11 memorial, MSG and UN (I think).

I fly to NYC fairly often to connect to domestic or international flights but rarely get into the city. I always enjoy it when I do.
