Three bridges span the Bosphorus (Bosporus) Strait in Istanbul, Turkey and connect Europe and Asia. In addition to the Bridge of the Americas, the Centennial Bridge and a third bridge in Panama, these are the only bridges that connect two continents.
I believe this is a photo of the first Bosphorus bridge that was built in 1973.
nice! The only one I remember is at a narrower point. its older and has loads of fishermen!

Wow. Here you go taking me down memory lane again with your photos. Sailing on the Bosporus on a good day is beautiful especially sailing pass the maiden tower. Back then I wasn’t thinking of connecting bridges or continents 😂. Love your photos. Keep them coming.
