There’s a blog challenge going around where you post one favorite travel picture a day for 10 days without explanation, then nominate someone else to participate. Ten pictures, 10 days, 10 nominations. I thank Wanderlustig for nominating me for this challenge.
I nominate JKRoaming-TravelBlog. There is no obligation to accept. If you do, please link to my site so I can see your picture.
Take a crack at identifying this location in the comments if you’d like. That seems to be within the rules. The locations and the winners will be identified on Day 11. Have fun all.
Nepal. I have so many great memories from Kathmandu!!

Nepal, a wonderful country, is perhaps the most different place I’ve visited.

I agree! I’ve been there twice and I would definitely consider a third. It’s unique in its spirituality, charm and most of all, Nepalese are wonderful people!

Either Nepal or India. 😦 I know my guess is too generic.

Looks like Kathmandu after the earthquake with the wooden joists holding up the buildings.

Nepal or Tibet?

I think it’s Kathmandu, Nepali, because of that flag hanging outside the shop selling t-shirts. It looks like it’s a tourist market. There’s another ship down the street called “Amazing Buddha Ark”, which probably has nothing to do with Buddhism. There’s another ship sign across the street, but it’s in a Hindi script, and I can’t read (or speak) know any Hindi dialects. Also, there are strings of faux-prayer flags up and down the street. I’m fairly sure all of that is for the benefit of tourists.

You know what Bob Seger said, “If I ever get out of here, I’m going to Kathmandu.”

It will be interesting to find out if any of guesses are correct. I’m not as well traveled as you. I’ve been all over Europe, but Ive never been to Asia or Africa.
