Sculpture Saturday this week is the Coronation of King Saint Stephen (Stephen I), the first King of Hungary. The limestone statue is 12m tall and stands behind the Esztergom Basilica overlooking the Danube River and Slovakia in Esztergom, Hungary. The sculpture was made by Miklós Melocco. It was completed in 2001.
Sculpture Saturday is a challenge hosted by Susan Kelly at No Fixed Plans.
