This challenge was truly challenging, but I found a photo that works.
I found myself sitting next to Kevin Doyle on a flight from Los Angeles to Charlotte. He and other cast members from Downton Abbey had just collected the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. He had the hardware stashed in the overhead bin.

I don’t think you told me about this one either when you were telling me the famous people you have met. How cool that you got to sit next to him right after he had won the award!

Ha ha! There have been so many. I was the last to board because the agent delayed didn’t give out the upgrade until they almost ready to close the door. I think they were hoping to keep the seat next to him empty. I’m glad I was polite when I sat down but they should have told me who I was sitting next to.

I was in the same boat. I watched a couple of episodes since. It is a very good show but not my kind of program. I’ve also missed out on Game of Thrones.

There were maybe four others from the cast or the production side of the show in first class. I didn’t recognize any of them. So there were other famous but unidentified people there for my brush with fame. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

The FA who asked for the autograph offered so much praise for Doyle and the show he was on, I felt really dumb for not knowing him.

lol…..🤣!!!!! Totally can relate to this!!!!! It was probably a releif for him I bet….It’s a great show I hear. Watched it it once but I couldn’t understand most of it with the accents. Feeling your pain tho. Our friends son married the gal on Big Bang theory Kelli or Kelly something and I didn’t have a clue who she was since I watch so little T.V.

A flight attendant asked for his autograph. I didn’t recognize him. I was a little embarrassed when I finally had to ask who he was.
