My response relates to the ability to move around. On a recent trip to Utqiaġvik, Alaska we saw a weird vehicle capable of transporting people and their supplies in winter conditions to remote areas without roads.

This vehicle certainly looks like it has the ability to drive through almost any terrain.

I had some of those when I was deployed to Kosovo, those things were amazing on snow and mud until they broke. Pretty hard to tow down a highway…

The camo made me think it might be surplus military equipment. I can see how such a vehicle would be very handy around Utqiaġvik, Alaska. The cost to ship a vehicle like that up there on a barge is probably huge.

$60,000 is probably a great deal. It costs thousands to ship vehicles up there. .

Cool. That is a Hagglund used at Antarctic bases. We rode in one at the International Antarctic Center in Christchurch New Zealand. Its no Mercedes, but it gets you from point A to point B. Cheers John. Allan
