Cityscapes usually look good in black and white. This week Monochrome Monday presents Lhasa, Tibet as viewed from Potala Palace, the historical home of the Dalai Lamas.
Thanks for checking out the post today. I hope your week is off to a good start and getting better by the nanosecond. 😊

This photo doesn’t do it justice. Lhasa and Tibet is like being in another world.

I know Tibetan monks as friends but I’ve never been to Tibet.

That’s cool. The Tibetan monks can give you a very good idea about life there without having to go.

I would love go but the altitude might be hard on me.

The altitude is important to take into consideration. Lhasa is not as high as Cusco, Peru, if you’ve been there.

Oh yes I was in Cusco…I was OK ..so maybe I could go to Lhasa.

Flying directly to Lhasa might be best. I took the train and it gets as high as 15,000 ft. on the mountain passes leading from China into Tibet.

OK that’s a good way to get there.
