I sorta am my default John so I totally get your excitement but I think it’s the only game you can fall asleep in and not miss much .. well unless that moment was the big home run hit. Sorry to burst my image for you.. lol 🤣🤣 but happy you were happy💖
Oops, I made an assumption. I remember one of your posts a while back where your family seemed to be big fans. You’re right. You can fall asleep and not miss much. Baseball is kind of like life. You never know what’s going to happen until it happens.
The stadium is only a few years old. For minor leagues, it is a great stadium. The one drawback is no covered seating. There were a couple of showers that night.
It was the Charlotte Knights vs. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple AAA ball) in Charlotte. The stadium is just a few years old. It is small but a good place to watch baseball.
That’s a great level. Sometimes you get to see up-and-coming stars or guys from the big club who are rehabbing. I would say that you get more value your dollar that way, but the beer is still expensive.🤣
Very true. There were a couple of White Sox players that were sent down to the Knights. Back in the day the Indianapolis Indians had a bunch of Reds greats come through on their way up and there were annual exhibitions with the Reds and their best guys (Rose, Bench, Morgan etc.) even appeared. 😃
What a memorable night John! Glad you had fun and you couldn’t be the price or the seats💖💖💖

I’ve never been to Truist park. It looks like a great stadium.

Who was playing? Which ballpark? I’ve been to quite a few, but I don’t recognize this one.

It was fun and dollar dog day! Beer regular price though.

I guess the beer is where they make all their profit…

Yes. They should make a good profit off beer and regular priced food.

there’s nothing like a $10 beer at a ball game…
