This Sunday, golf is on my mind as the Ryder Cup concludes this afternoon at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Pinehurst No. 2 hosted the 1951 Ryder Cup.

Organizers may think that means the hype isn’t good enough. Maybe they can have a weigh in and Brooks and Bryson can rough each other up a little bit. I can see it now — the rumble at Pebble Beach.😄 Or not.

I’m always amazed at how perfect and neat everything is at a golf clubhouse – is it because it’s a gentleman’s game? And congratulations to the USA for winning the championship this year!

Many courses are part of very expensive private country clubs. Whistling Straits and Pinehurst are open to the public even though they are expensive to play.
