The speed must distort your senses enormously. Is it a blur or are you too adrenalized to notice anything at all?

I didn’t notice much of the scenery or height because of the speed – just worried about the landing and trying to control the direction I was facing. Thanks for dropping by and sharing a comment.

I paid up for it in Costa Rica a few years back – went through the safety talk, got kitted out and followed the group to the top of the mountain….. and bottled it! Himself went ahead all right but I had to turn round and walk back down the path of shame all on my owneo!!! I don’t know why I put myself through these things at my age! Never learn!!

I thought long and hard about backing out. But what the heck! The first zipline was short, and after that I figured I could do it. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I don’t doubt it. One of the zip lines on this course was 300 meters. I don’t think it was the one they did the video for.

That was one concern because I also don’t like heights. This was the medium course where heights were no more than 20 meters. The high course was up to 40 meters. Stopping was actually a bigger concern. It was fun!
