Anakena “framed” the beach neatly between those two arms of land (or islands, as the case may be). The sea, the sky — I like how everything has its neat place and its orderly disposition.
The beach is framed by the arms of land creating a peaceful bay. They say this is where the Polynesian King landed when he led his people to Easter Island. That is a good assumption as Anekena is the best and about the only beach on the whole island. Thanks for your observations. I think that is why I like the photo, too.

Anakena is about the only beach on the whole island. Mother nature concentrated great beauty in one place.
