I’m sharing the last of my shots of the sakura (cherry blossoms) from my Sakura Season at home. Although there are many outstanding displays of cherry blossoms in America and around the world, Sakura Season in Japan is truly a unique and amazing experience. One day…
Enjoy spring now or in six months for those in the Southern Hemisphere.
spectacular trees and photos; I hope to get to D.C. some year to see them in bloom…

The appreciation of the cherry blossoms has grown on me so to speak. DC or any other spot with a lot of cherry trees would be a treat.

Lovely captures. It’s still a bit to early for cherry blossoms here in Ontario, but they should be here in a few weeks.

A great thing about sakura season is it doesn’t happen all at once.😍

Really nice, I like the contrast between the white of the flowers and the blue of the sky.

I agree. The clear blue sky is a great background for the beautiful blossoms.

❤️ it! It’s a feast for the eye John! It’s ok, I’ll hang on for another 6 months ’till our spring arrives (but unfortunately, we won’t see these beautiful cherry blossoms … but wildflowers)!

Yes – lift the spirits and to walk under the ones you posted must have been exhilarating – and hope you can time it right on one of your travels to make the Japan Sakura explosion! I know some
Folks who Said it is hard to sometimes time it right?
Either way – we have some blooms here and today I saw white, electric pink,
And like green!

The one time I was in Japan for the sakura I saw that there were many websites predicting the blossoms and tracking their march across the country. Enjoy your Sakura Season!😃
