I don’t see many sunrises; so I was very happy and lucky to see this one. The photo also could be interpreted as the explosion of a nuclear bomb — which it actually is. The sun’s power comes from fusion of hydrogen atoms literally millions of hydrogen bombs going off every second.
I like that description. Looking at the photo again, it resembles the flash of a thermonuclear blast. Above ground nuclear test happened near Las Vegas for years.
the sort of sunrise that asks you ‘do you feel lucky, punk?’

That’s a great line. I don’t see how anyone who has a .357 magnum in their face would feel lucky.🤣

Forgetting to close the drapes and being awakened by the sun turned out great in this case.

What a beautiful sunrise. Seems like it was well worth getting up early for.

I probably left the curtains open and the sun woke me. I’m guessing I took a photo, closed the curtains, and went back to sleep. 😊

The sharp stark image of the Sun is a perfect backdrop for the desert city.

The city that never sleeps. Hopefully, you’re just getting up instead of just getting in.

Ha ha! Good question for Vegas, Pete. I was sort of getting up. I think I went back to sleep for a while.
