Yesterday’s Wordless Wednesday asked where this photo was taken.

Many got it right. The photo is from Tibet. It was taken in October 2018 on the way back to Lhasa from Everest Base Camp. The architecture, setting and Chinese flag are the big clues. Although it lacks any real autonomy, Tibet is an Autonomous Region of China.
I’ll have to come up with a harder test next week to challenge my savvy WP followers. Thanks to those who played along privately or in the comments.
I didn’t get it right! Tibet must have been so interesting to visit.

Tibet is one of the most interesting places on Earth IMO. Thanks for your comment Hannah!

China is one of my most-travelled countries, but I never made it to Tibet. Great shot, another one for the to-do list but have to concede it’s unlikely in these increasingly unstable times. Maybe a bit further down the line.

I missed your post yesterday … but I think I would have got it wrong. It looks like somewhere in Thailand. But now I know … ☺️

Both countries start with T, so you would have been on the right track. Ha ha! Thanks for giving it a shot!

I would have had no idea. I would have guessed Bangkok!

Based on my posts and travel patterns, that’s a good guess.😄

Yes, that would have been my logic. 🤓
