The surroundings of Interlaken are very beautiful but I did not like the town really. Only a very small historic center and too many shops with luxury goods 😉.
I avoided the shopping (as usual) and just admired the scenery and some of the nicer buildings. Other small towns in the area are probably better representations of rural Swiss life. Thanks much for sharing your perspective. 😊

The bus tour to the Jungfraujoch stopped here. Interlaken is the major city in this region of the Alps.
