Greetings fearless readers. It is Monochrome Monday time. This week’s post presents a photo of a family (and pets) taking a dip in a tributary of the Rio de la Plata River behind their home in Buenos Ares, Argentina. This photo was taken in December 2007.
I hope your weekend was refreshing as a dip cool stream and your week is off to a wonderful start.
I could feel the energy of this group! Nice photo.

lovely shot but looks a little scary like the gal is going to land head first on the step from this angle.

The angle gives a slightly distorted view. I’m sure the girl had been swimming off the dock behind her house (I assume) enough to know where to dive in. She popped up with a big smile on her face.

I figured as much and hey if she came back up with a big smile…. She was having a ball!
fun!

She had a very big smile when she came up. They were all having a marvelous time. Even the dogs were getting in on the act.

The image of the girl diving into shallow water makes me feel uneasy.

The water appears shallow. The girl wasn’t hurt. She must have known where to dive. My guess is the family had been swimming there many times.

Nice shot, there’s something about the blurred diver that gives it a nice retro authenticity.

That’s a good observation. This family was having such a good time, I had to take a photo. The girl dove in at just the right time.

Looks like a good time. I would have guessed it was taken before 2007.

I think the b & w image and old looking swimsuits give that impression. Having fun in a swimming hole is timeless though.
